Bridging K-Beauty and U.S. Innovation at MakeUp in NewYork 2025
What visitors asked — and what impressed them most at our booth.
A Global Conversation on Beauty Innovation
At MakeUp in NewYork 2025, the CTKCLIP booth became a true meeting point for brands eager to discover how beauty innovation travels across borders. From startup founders to global buyers, one question came up more than any other:
“How does CTK manage development between Korea and the U.S.?”
It was the question that defined the show — and one that reflected how global beauty creation is evolving.
Our answer highlighted CTK’s global ecosystem: the Korean headquarters, the newly opened OTC Laboratories in the U.S., and CTK Bio in Canada. The establishment of the U.S. OTC Laboratories marks a major milestone in CTK’s history — a strategic move to bring Korean formulation expertise closer to U.S. brands and enable faster, FDA-compliant development.
Together, these three centers form a connected network that allows brands to move from idea to launch with the perfect balance of K-Beauty innovation, regulatory confidence, and local production speed — all supported through CTKCLIP.COM.
A Booth Designed to Tell a Story
The booth was intentionally divided into two key sections — one for CTKCLIP.COM, and the other dedicated to the OTC Laboratories.
For this year’s MakeUp in NewYork show, the focus was clear: introducing and promoting the OTC service. The team showcased CTK’s OTC development capabilities, emphasizing the new U.S. OTC Laboratorie’s ability to accelerate compliance, communication, and production for American brands or brands that want to release a product in the U.S.
This layout highlighted CTK’s dual strength:
✔️ The digital platform, where brands can browse, test, and start projects online, and
✔️ The OTC consultation zone, where visitors met directly with our formulation and regulatory experts to discuss product development possibilities and market-specific strategies.
By creating a natural flow between online discovery and in-person expertise, the booth demonstrated how CTKCLIP.COM bridges digital innovation with hands-on collaboration — helping brands move seamlessly from concept to creation.
Many visitors shared that this setup helped them clearly understand how CTK combines technology, human insight, and practical support within one cohesive ecosystem.
What Captured Visitors’ Attention
Visitors were particularly interested in how the U.S. OTC Laboratories, opened earlier this year, allows faster testing, FDA compliance, and communication with local brands — while preserving the signature textures and quality that define K-Beauty. Meanwhile, the Base Makeup series developed by CTK’s Innovation Lab, received strong positive feedback for its unique sensorial experience, resulting in numerous sample requests and new client projects.
The Launch of the U.S. OTC Laboratories
The opening of the U.S. CTK OTC Laboratories (formerly FMK Labs) marks a major milestone in CTK’s global expansion strategy. Based in California (Corona, CA) and now part of the CTK Group, the facility offers certified OTC product manufacturing and full-service U.S.-based OTC development and manufacturing — from formulation to packaging.
Key highlights include:
✔️ Flexible models including CMO/CDMO services with FDA OTC registration and ISO GMP certification.
✔️ Localized production that strengthens CTKCLIP’s synergy between digital platform and offline manufacturing support.
✔️ A dedicated focus on U.S. market needs — particularly in sunscreens, acne treatments and functional OTC skincare.
Through this milestone, CTK strengthens its mission to bridge innovation and regulation across continents, giving brands a faster and more reliable path from concept to compliance.
Sustainability That Inspires
Sustainability remained a core topic at the booth.
Many buyers showed interest in CTKCLIP’s eco-friendly packaging developments, asking about application possibilities, resin options, and MOQ flexibility. It was clear that as brands innovate faster, they’re also looking for responsible packaging solutions that align with performance and design.
A Platform That Connects Everything
Visitors were impressed by how CTKCLIP.COM connects every stage of product creation — from digital exploration to real-world development. Through the platform, brands can browse verified formulas, request samples, and start projects directly online — while accessing CTK Bio’s biotech innovations, the U.S. OTC Lab’s formulation support, and our Korean R&D expertise.
This integrated approach enables:
✔️ Faster launches with tested formulas,
✔️ Access to advanced biotech technologies, and
✔️ Full-service development from formulation to final packaging.
Throughout the exhibition, many visitors expressed strong interest in this connected process, recognizing how CTKCLIP combines technology and service to make product development simpler and more efficient.
Innovation Without Borders
The synergy between Korean R&D, North American production, and digital collaboration represents the future of beauty creation. With the U.S. OTC Lab and CTK Bio now fully active, CTKCLIP.COM continues to grow as the central hub of CTK’s full-service network — offering global brands a faster, smarter, and more sustainable way to bring their next beauty idea to life.
Next stop: Hong Kong
This November, CTKCLIP.COM will participate in Cosmopack Asia 2025, showcasing new products, packaging, and full-service solutions designed to accelerate global beauty creation.
